JAMBOREE REGISTRATION WILL OPEN THURSDAY, JULY 18TH AT 5:00.
The Jamboree is from Thursday, 7-18-19 to Sunday, Noon, 7-21-19
Start your plans for the Jamboree. The rain should be all used up - so weather will be good. Shooting starts Friday morning, July 19th. Get ready for your big hunt this fall! The event will be at the same location: Formally known as Quail Mountain Resort - 18 miles south of Leadville. The ranch name is now called "Eureka Ranch" and is owned by Josh O'Neill.
VOLUNTEERS AND HELP NEEDED: WATCH FOR THE "SIGN UP GENIUS" TO PUT YOUR NAME IN AS A VOLUNTEER. IT TAKES A LOT OF PEOPLE/VOLUNTEERS TO PULL THIS OFF.
RANGE SET UP: We only need about 20 more people to set up.
* Set up volunteers get complimentary shooting fees.
RANGE TAKE DOWN: This starts about noon on Sunday, July 21s. We need lots of help with this, so PLEASE let us know if you are available.
* Take down volunteers will get a $20 gift certificate to Cabelas/Bass Pro!
EMTS/FIRST RESPONDERS, MEDICS, PHYSICIANS, PA’S AND NURSES: Please contact Roger if you are going to be at this event. Let Roger know of your ideas for an emergency plan, transportation to Leadville hospital, equipment you can bring, first aid and triage ideas. Lake County would like an Emergency Medical Plan for this event, as we are 18 miles from Leadville. Email me at: email@example.com
CHILI CONTEST: This has made a resurgence in the past few years. Plan to bring a big bow of chili to share with your CBA colleagues.
KIDS POP SHOOT: This is a big event with the greatest audience. Let us know if you would like to coordinate this event. Tim Lawrence has run this for over 20 years! Thank you Tim!
KIDS RANGE: If you would like to spend two hours doing a Kid’s shoot, 12 and under on the Kid’s range, let us know.
KIDS TENT: We have a Kid’s tent for a few hours on Saturday. This is for children about ten and under. In the past, we have done painting, coloring, balloons, and made items. If you like kids and have ideas – sign up.
LONG SHOT: About 20 shooters participate in this. We set up a target at over 100 yards and you try to hit it. Only one person is needed to run this event.
REGISTRATION DESK: We need volunteers who would do three hour shifts to help attendees register for the event.
MERCHANDISE: Similar to Registration. We need people to help sell CBA Merchandise. Watch for the Sign Up Genius to help out.
TRAILER TRANSPORTATION: If you would be willing to haul a trailer to or from the Jamboree, we pay you $150 each way. We have four trailers. Watch for the Sign Up Genius to pull the trailers.
LIVE BAND: Spur of the Moment - the band we love is coming back. This is their 5th year returning. The musicians say this is one of their top gigs to play. The love the family nature of the Jamboree and the camaraderie of the CBA group.
